Manual
LODs & Outliner
The N-panel follows the active collection in the Outliner. Click the house next door and you see its LODs — not the old ones in silence.
Typical collection
| Folder | Contents |
|---|---|
| Visuals | Resolution 1 and further visual LODs |
| Point clouds | Memory — doors, action points, loot vertices |
| Geometry | Collision, View Geometry, Fire Geometry |
| Misc | e.g. Roadway |
| LootPoints | Helpers for placing. Export writes to the Memory LOD. |
Active LOD
- Select the LOD mesh in the Outliner or viewport
- Expand All if the sub-blocks are closed
- Set the type in the dropdown, optional Res value
- Apply for this mesh, Sync All if the whole list should follow
The numbers on the right of the main LOD list are the internal LOD values (1, 1e+13, 1e+15 …). DayZ uses them to tell visual, collision, and special LODs apart.
Outliner rules
- Empty sibling collection → empty LOD list, not the house next door.
- Click a subfolder of the model → the same model stays active.
- Proxy meshes (
proxy: …) belong to the LOD but do not get their own row in the main list.
